Absa Bank Seychelles hosted a Premier League (PL) event this weekend to reward the Absa Card Campaign Grand Prize winner and 10 of his invited guests, consisting of family and friends.

France Anacoura and 10 of his guests received the VIP experience of a lifetime on Saturday when they were transported to L’escale Resort for an evening of football and entertainment and catching the much anticipated Manchester United vs Arsenal live showdown on the big screen, coupled with a live interaction with an PL legend.

Mr Anacoura’s win comes after Absa’s PL campaign which ran between October 2021 to January 31 2022 where customers used their Absa Debit or Credit Cards as often as possible to stand the chance to win amazing prizes.

Absa’s unique re-launched vertical cards with tap and go functionality and newly updated card management features via the Absa Mobile Banking App was launched in 2020 and offers customers convenience, security and piece of mind.

Every month for the campaign duration, 5 Absa Debit and 5 Absa Credit Card users who used their cards the most were randomly selected and rewarded with Absa-branded merchandise and SCR1000 each, after the three-month campaign, winners’ names were entered into a draw to win a VIP experience and grand prize. This included a 65” flat screen TV with surround sound system and an PL VIP experience with 10 other friends or family members of the winner’s choice.

The winners and their guests would get the chance to watch an EPL match between Manchester United and Arsenal as well as have the chance to virtually engage with football legend, Jay Jay Okotcha – a Nigerian international footballer who has 124 Premier League caps, scored 14 goals and given 11 assists in his Premier League career. In 2003, he was awarded Premier League Player of the month and has spent many brilliant years playing for Bolton Wanderers.
