Who is IPSOS?

IPSOS is a global market research agency that Absa Seychelles has contracted to conduct interviews on our behalf.
Why is IPSOS conducting the survey and not Absa?

Absa has commissioned an external research supplier to conduct the survey interviews to ensure objectivity and independence of the survey results.
Will you share my survey responses with Absa?

All feedback remains strictly confidential and individual survey responses are not shared with Absa. We will only receive an aggregated report of all responses to the survey and no responses will be linked to any specific customers. IPSOS will require your permission to identify you or share your personal data with us, should the need arise.
Where did IPSOS get my contact details from?

Absa has provided your non-confidential customer contact information (name and phone number only) to IPSOS for participation in the survey. Only customers that have been identified as important contributors to our research and have opted in to receive communication from Absa have been included in this survey.
Will you ask me for personal information?

No, the survey does not require you to share any personal or financial information. We are only interested in your feedback and your views on the service we provide and related issues.
Who can I speak to, in order to verify the validity of the survey?

If you have any questions with regards to the survey, please don’t hesitate to call the Absa Call Centre on 4383939.
What will the information from the survey be used for?

We will analyse the survey results to improve our customer service to you.
What are the data privacy protocols used for this survey?

IPSOS subscribes to the International Code on Market and Social Research as governed by ESOMAR. Please refer to the IPSOS website for the GDPR process and legal requirements for data privacy and storage. To find out more about IPSOS, please visit their website at IPSOS.com
Do I have to participate in the survey?

No, participation is voluntary, however, you have been identified as an important contributor based on your indication that you are open to receive communication from Absa.
Is there an incentive for completing the survey?

No, your participation is on a voluntary basis.
